Company and role overview

Main responsibilities

  • Working with operational managers to recognise areas for growth, programme development, and developing Fundraising strategy and opportunities
  • Developing relationships with a range of funders and partners, including corporate contacts, to generate new business leads
  • Identify relevant funders, funding opportunities and business partners to support the continued growth and evolution of company activities in public health
  • Producing high quality, competitive funding proposals and tender submissions
  • Identifying and managing risk during the tender process to support successful project implementations and handover to operational leads
  • Working with the Junior team members to identify, research and vet business development opportunities
  • Working with operational managers and external partners/stakeholders where relevant to implement contracts and new project agreements effectively.
  • A key point of contact within the Business Development team for internal and external stakeholders as well as ensuring targets, objectives and KPI's are met to a high standard

Requirements:


  • At least two years proven track record of effective bid writing/ tender submissions and administration
  • Demonstrable experience in managing relationships with external partners/stakeholders
  • Highly articulate with excellent writing & communication skills
