The Finance Service is committed to providing excellent stewardship of our resources, whilst supporting us to develop commercial opportunities and innovative ways of delivering services.


As part of the Corporate Fraud Service you will be responsible for processing intelligence data to ensure an effective corporate response in identifying fraud within our taxbase.

You will be responsible for recording and reporting progress where cases have been reviewed and/or investigated and for capturing financial savings.


We are looking for somebody with a flexible approach to undertaking new tasks and opportunities with a desire to work effectively as part of a team to successfully deliver project objectives on our behalf, in partnership with stakeholders.

You will be enthusiastic, tenacious, and willing to undertake training to be successful in post. Experience of working within a Local Government setting within a similar role is an advantage.

Your role will require you to have good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, be competent and accurate in recording information to develop progress reports and have a sound knowledge of Council Tax Regulations.


You will participate in activity to protect our assets and prevent fraud and work with internal colleagues and external agencies.


You will have the desire to make a real difference and the interpersonal skills to assist us to embed an anti-fraud culture.
