JOB ROLE DESCRIPTION
GRADUATE BUILDING PHYSICS & SUSTAINABILITY CONSULTANT
You will be fulfilling a Graduate Building Physics & Sustainability Consultant role to work in the MACH Energy team in Bristol.
Your role will be to support the team in delivering our unique fusion of a dual-discipline approach to the design of low-energy buildings.
We do this by thinking differently and blending our, two, highly skilled disciplines of Energy andAcoustics. To understand this better please watch our TEDx talk on YouTube.
THE AREA OF 3D Modelling for overheating, daylighting and energy assessments
WORK YOU WILL
- IES Assessments and analysis
COVER WILL
INCLUDE:
Support on energy-use calculations and Passivhaus projects
- Advising on integrated design with the acoustics team
- Report writing (overheating, Part L, daylight/sunlight, Passivhaus)
The projects you will be involved with will range from small extensions, to larger £600m developments, including residential, schools and commercial projects.

INTEGRATED DESIGN &
IN-HOUSE TRAINING
Because of our relatively unique approach of integrating acoustics with ventilation, daylight & energy use, you will need to develop a basic understanding of acoustic façade design.
However, if you are interested in broadening your skills, we would provide you the opportunity with further in-house training on acoustics.
This work compliments the training and experience you will gain in the energy team, helping you to deliver a more holistic design approach and provide you with an excellent foundation to build your career on.

Salary:
£23,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
