New opportunity for an Accounts Senior to join a flexible and friendly firm of Chartered Accountants in Glasgow. This role would suit someone with 2+ years' experience gained within Accountancy Practice looking to progress in their career.

Joining an established accounts team of trainees, seniors, and management, you will initially be allocated client work covering accounts preparation, tax, VAT and bookkeeping tasks.

You will support with preparation for regular client meetings and attend meetings alongside managers - both in-person and remotely throughout the year.

As you progress in this role, you will take on responsibility for a small portfolio of your own clients, acting as their key, trusted point of contact for accounting queries.

You will also build upon your technical knowledge and skills and will be supported through professional studies via ACCA. You will also act as a role model and support figure to junior members of the team.

To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of 2 years+ experience gained within accountancy practice, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills.

You will have started, or will be keen to begin working towards professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA). You will be a team-player and enjoy regular contact with a wide range of clients.
