Accounts Administrator

Overview:


Our client is a successful supplier in Midlothian who is looking for an Accounts Administrator to join their close-knit but expanding team.

The successful applicant will be a strong communicator, with finance or accounts experience, who is organised andable to work on their own initiative.


Benefits and pay range:


  • Mon
  • Fri 8:30am 4:30pm or 4 days pro rata
- £25,000 + dependent on experience

  • Midlothian location

Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Responsible for invoicing clients
  • Relationship management with account holders to ensure the timely answering of all queries
  • Ensure the payment of invoices within agreed terms and follow up with clients for payment
  • Maintaining customer database, putting nonpaying clients on hold when necessary
  • Financial reporting including day sales outstanding, income, nonpayments
  • Ad hoc assistance to finance department when needed

Requirements and Qualifications:


Essential:


  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Finance/Accounts experience
  • SAGE experience
  • Excel knowledge

Desirable:


  • Own car/license as office is located in Midlothian. Parking onsite available
