Description

Our client is an investment manager for UHNW family wealth.

They invest across all asset classes - liquid, illiquid, private assets with allocations to ETFs, futures for liquidity & risk control, managed semi-liquid and illiquid assets (PE, VC, RE, NR) anddirectly into private asset opportunities.

Coordinating outsourced service providers for both the management company and investment vehicles:
IT, admin, compliance
Partnering with finance function to coordinate with tax and audit
Coordinating with outside investment partners on operational topics such as:
Anti money laundering and know-your-client exercises.
Data requests, FATCA/CRS
Maintenance of firm operational/filing documents:
ADV, DDQ, Employee Handbook, Policies & Procedures
Operations and Compliance manuals
Setup/maintenance of bank/brokerage accounts
Coordinating with investment team on creation and maintenance of internal and external reporting
Attending investment committee meetings, and preparing subscription documents for underlying investments upon approval
Coordinating with admins on new investor subscription/redemption process
Reviewing admin work product
Reporting
NAVs & allocations
Financial statements
Coordinating investment cash flow items
Payment/Receipt of capital calls & distributions
Closing/funding/redemption of openended investments
Assisting in preparing information for regulatory reports and regulatory filings
Reviewing client reporting (cap statements, quarterly letters) prior to their release
All topics related to firm real estate.

Applicants must have:

Over 5 years of professional experience preferably in a similar role
Experience working in another LP (single/multifamily office, FoF, endowment, etc), is highly preferred, or with an investment manager
Exceptional dedication to and attention todetail
An enthusiastic and handsonapproach
An inquisitive and proactivenature
Strong grasp of Excel and quantitative abilities
Wellorganized and able to multitask and keep track of various deadlines
Strong written and verbal communicationsskills
The ability to develop constructive relationships with peers andcounterparties.
Be entrepreneurial and a selfstarter, work autonomously within a small team, particularly with asynchronous coworkers.

Given the nature of the business, a high degree of sensitivity to client confidentiality is required.

The job is full time but the firm is amenable to one day per week of work-from-home, provided it is under the same work standards as work at the office.

The firm has an independent entrepreneurial culture and expects people to be self-motivated.

The person could have a background in the operations function of a PE firm, Hedge Fund or wealth management firm, and have a real appetite to dig into the broader remit of the role.

Alternatively, they could come from a professional services firm.
