We are looking for a confident Nursing Associate with a passion for delivering outstanding care.You'll be working 37.5 hours a week making a positive difference to the lives of the people in our Acute Mental Health Unit on Coral Ward.
The nursing associate is a new generic nursing role in England that bridges the gap between healthcare support workers and registered nurses, to deliver hands-on, person-centred care as part of the team in a range of different settings.
It is essential that the Nurse Associate works within their own level of competency and expand her/his role in accordance with practice requirements and own scope of practice.
The nursing associates will work under the direction of a registered nurse or registered professional but may not require direct supervision.
They will also be able to support, supervise and act as a role model to trainee nursing associates, healthcare support workers and those new to care roles.
This is a permanent and full-time post (37.5 hours per week).The post-holder should be willing to work flexible hours and to work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team as required to support delivery of the 24/7 care on an open acute Mental Health Ward.
