This position is part of the Workforce Planning Function that has been formed to lead Citi's transformation efforts around staffing and skill adequacy of our risk and control functions and effective organization design.

We are at a pivotal moment of redefinition across our franchise as we transform our risk and control environment, across the first, second and third lines of defense, to one that is stronger and simpler.

This role sits under the Operational Excellence team and will oversee projects which span across the Workforce Planning Function driving forward work transforming HR processes, executing robust procedures to support reporting of progress to all key stakeholders,management of interdependencies with the broader transformation program and resolution of issues.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Partner closely with the Workforce Planning Initiative Director and Leads (Staffing, Organizational Design, Operational Excellence) in area of program expertise to:
  • Support execution plans to meet deliverables critical to Workforce Planning Transformation Initiative
  • Support the monitoring of the performance of multiple programs of work
  • Support the implementation of common PMO standards, reporting, and closure process across programs
  • Provide ontheground support to the Initiative Director and Leads to help execute the planning, directing and coordination of daytoday activities of running the portfolio of programs
  • Support the design and execution of change management programs
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvement
  • Create reporting materials to enable stakeholders to understand the program schedule and key milestones
  • Monitor and track execution of programs and escalate program risks impacting project delivery to the Initiative Director, Leads and appropriate stakeholders
  • Support adherence to program processes, procedures, methods, and standards for program delivery and leverage across the programs
  • Support the identification and resolution of issues, including those outside established projects of work
  • Collaborate with Workforce Planning Initiative Director and Leads to action deliverables from reviews of each program's defined scope, target state, and success criteria to ensure it fully addresses the letter and the spirit of the regulatory feedback,broader supervisory expectations and underlying issues and root causes, and is embedded in a broader strategic vision

Qualifications:


  • Previous program/project management, consulting or technology experience preferred with the ability to create and manage large and complex projects using MS Project
  • General understanding of relevant banking regulation and supervisory expectations for large complex financial institutions
  • Track record of managing internal relationships and demonstrated experience in leading sustained change and change management efforts
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analytically, and creatively problem solve
  • Welldeveloped listening skills and a strong ability to engage at a variety of levels
  • Experience of working within HR as well interacting with senior HR professionals preferred
  • Experience with different HR functions such as Learning & Development, Performance Management, Recruitment, Talent Management preferred
  • Proficiency in working in iCAPs/Citi's Risk and Control platform, SharePoint and PTS-W/PTS 2.0 preferred
  • Articulate and effective communicator, both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with evidence of working in collaboration across large organizations, including a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating issues/requests
  • 5+ years of experience, Bachelor's degree required
  • Project Management Certification a plus
