Female Self-employed Personal Care Assistant (PA)/Support Worker

About me
I am a young lady seeking a selfemployed female PA to support me to live independently in my home.

I have several health issue including Cerebral Palsy and as such, I have limited mobility and fluctuating physical needs.

I need a personal assistant to assist me with domestic duties, shopping and accessing the community.

Hours and rate of pay

3 days: 2 hours twice per week and 3 hours once per week. Exact days and times can be discussed and agreed on, to accommodate the schedule of the PA. Year round support will be required and cover must be arranged when a shift cannot be completed due to sickness, holiday or absence.

Confirmation of DBS checkRight to Work and references will be needed.

Training

Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
Safeguarding Adults
Introduction to first aid
Health and Safety

What you would be doing

You will be providing support with personal care needs such as, dressing, drying following a shower, prompts for seeking medical attention. Other tasks will include housework, food preparation, grocery shopping, driving to appointments, making phone calls and accessing the community.

I am looking for someone with prior experience of working with individuals with complex needs (physical and mental health conditions), with a gentle and empathetic personality.
