About the role

• Responsible for the management and operation of two Pegasus Opus CNC routers to cut HPL, acrylic and other products in our production facility.
• Responsible for basic inspection of parts to ensure the ongoing quality of batches.
• Manage workflow on the machine to maximise output without compromising quality.
• Ensure machined goods are cleaned and ready for assembly.
• Carry out quality control of parts being produced, checking for damage or scratches.
• Carry out regular maintenance on the CNC machine to ensure good working order, keeping maintenance records.
• Maintaining consistent satisfactory levels of housekeeping, keeping the work area clear and safe of any hazards and putting components away in the correct location.
• Assisting overall operations and performing duties as required by management.

• Good manual handling practice.
• Able to prioritise workload and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Good organisational and timemanagement abilities.

Skills required

• 2+ years experience in a similar role.
• Experience using Vectric VCarve Pro Software.
• Experience operating Pegasus ATC 2030 CNC Router advantageous.

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• CNC: 1 year (preferred)
