KPI Recruiting are working exclusively with our Warrington based client for the recruitment of a banking assistant to support the Portfolio Management department in retaining customers where appropriate.

You will be producing accurate and fully up to datereview templates, variation templates.

Ensuring that portfolio management changes to the bank systems are correct and accurate, all customer records are fully up to date and accurately maintained.

You will be conducting daily checks to ensure that interestmargins are correctly loaded and reviewing Land Registry to ensure that the Banks security is correctly recorded and liaising with the Banks solicitors to ensure that any outstanding cases are followed up


This is a lovely firm to join, and although you will work on a 6 month FTC, this is something that could become a long term opportunity.

Duties will include;

  • Maintain "Best in Class" levels of customer service to ensure that complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction are minimised.
  • Ensure that all complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction are appropriately logged and responded to.
  • Undertake any ad hoc task which may be required in support of the wider aims of the department and the Bank.
  • Complete all reviews and credit papers necessary in conjunction with the management of a given group of customers.
  • To support and assist the work of the Delinquent Debt team to effectively manage arrears and to minimise losses for Collections case
  • Ensure that internal and external audit requests are effectively managed and closed off with the appropriate evidence being provided where necessary.
  • Ensure that postsanction administration procedures, where appropriate, are completed in a timely manner and are compliant with the Banks procedures including the maintenance of appropriate MI
  • Ensuring that there are no breaches of customer GDPR data by effective customer identification
  • Assist with the management of the Banks periodic review process by preparing review documents for completion
  • Assist with the Banks Arrears process by preparing daily, weekly reports and updating where necessary
  • Assist with customer arrears and periodic review preparation
  • Diary Maintenance
  • Revaluations of properties
  • Interest Only switches to Capital & Interest, ensuring we have up to date records and transition the customers to the next stage of their loan in a timely manner
  • Gain an understanding of the Banks control function and the role they play within that
  • Gain an understanding of the Banks customer conduct and TCF values and always adhere to these.
You will have;

  • The ability to multitask and coordinate a heavy workload with colleagues.
  • Be extremely well organised; accurate, attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience of being a team player, flexible and adaptable.
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Understanding of lending to SME's and Individuals across a range of sectors
  • Understanding of Real Estate lending and the key credit metrics for this sector
