Reporting to the Head of Inclusion and Belonging, the post holder will lead activities to support the implementation of DCHS EDI Agenda, including:Leading on DCHS legal obligation to their Public Sector Equality Duty Gender Pay Gap reports and mandatory NHS requirements, eg Workforce Race Equality Standard, Workforce Disability Equality Standard, Bank and Medical Workforce Race Equality Standards and Equality Delivery System and CQC.
The role will focus on the development, operational, co-ordination and implementation of policies, strategies, action plans and best practice measures that aim to meet the requirements of DCHS commitment to the EDI agenda.
To manage the effective implementation and quality assurance feedback of Equality Impact Assessments
To work closely in partnership with Staff Network chairs to facilitate and provide regular support to sustain and grow membership and develop the networks further, so that members feel valued, engaged, and have a vital role to play in the work of the Trust.
