Absolute Recruit are delighted to be supporting a renowned IT Managed Service provider who support the Education Sector.

We are currently searching for a Snr 2nd Line Engineer to take on a field based role, supporting 3 specific locations in Buckinghamshire,Berkshire and Greater London.

The right 2nd Line Engineer must be able to commute to Slough and High Wycombe as part of this position.

Mileage is covered at 25p/mile.

This will be a customer facing role and therefor the Snr 2nd Line Engineer must be comfortable in front of clients and ideally had client facing experience.

This might be through a school or IT Managed Service Provider.
The Snr 2nd Line Engineer will have experience supporting Servers and Networks along with End User Computer Support. You will also be involved in supporting school hardware which may include Printers, AV, Touchscreens and Projectors.
To be a successful 2nd Line Engineer within the MSP, you will need to have technical capabilities in the following areas:

Windows Server and Desktop OS's

Office 36

Active Directory and experience of creating Group Policy
Hardware Troubleshooting: Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Scanner, Projectors and AV
Education experience is highly desirable
