This is a challenging role within a large and complex NHS organisation.It requires excellent time management and a significant level of attention to detail to ensure that staffing of UEC and GSM Doctors are safe and cost efficient.
Proactive monitoring and escalation are required to a wide range of clinical colleagues and therefore it is essential that the post holder is able to communicate in a professional, confident and articulate manner.

Prioritising workload in the face of changing demands and attendees in the department ensuring good customer service is given in often challenging and distressing situations.
Ensuring that the part you play enables the department to be run smoothly and harmoniously.
You will be responsible for the organisation, maintenance and accuracy of medical staff rotas and will ensure a safe and effective service is provided to patients.
Support the admin process for the Acute and Emergency Medicine Department medical staffing annual leave/study leave for junior medical staff.
You will monitor the medical staff mandatory training including implementing a reminder system to allow teams to be made aware in sufficient time of any upcoming training requirements.
Collate, record and process Locum claim forms. Organise/participate in Divisional medical staffing induction programmes for Acute and Emergency Medicine. Provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Operations Manager
