**Mechanical Design Engineer

Location:
Dudley

Salary up to £35k - depending on Experience

Permanent**We have an exciting opportunity for a Product Engineer to join an expanding Manufacturing company based in Dudley on a Permanent basis.

A background in MIG welding, Homologation and/or general engineering experience would be advantageous.


Key Responsibilities:


  • New product design
  • Product development
  • Producing design drawings
  • Developing product data sheets
  • Solid Works / AutoCAD 2D and 3D CAD Modelling
  • Producing Bill of Materials on MRP system
  • Project management
  • Providing handson support to the production team
  • Customer meetings
  • Travel to site when necessary to measure/redesign legacy product
CAD 2D/3D experience with knowledge of AutoCAD / SolidWorks
**Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Monday - Thursday 8.00 to 5pm
Friday 8.00 to 2.00pm**
