Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with daily activities, providing personal care, and ensuring the well-being of patients.

Duties:

Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Help patients with mobility and transfers
Support patients in maintaining a clean and safe environment
Assist in the preparation and serving of meals
Administer medication under the supervision of healthcare professionals
Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
Assist in the implementation of care plans
Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals Experience:
Previous experience working in a care home or home care setting is preferred but not required
Ability to drive is a plus Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficient in English language
Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
