An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our MCT team.

We are looking for a materials control leader to maintain our stock and ensure process within the store meets the standards we expect.

What the role is:

Using the well-established company inventory systems, as materials controller lead you will be responsible for ensuring that all ordered materials are effectively managed within the required timescales meeting internal and external requirement.

You will also support your team-members and production manager.

What you'll be doing:

Liaise with Purchasing and Planning department on the regular basis.

Maintain good working relationships with team-members across the business.

Follow up on delivery queries, inaccuracy, shortages etc.

Keep the operation informed on product issues and ensure any issue are resolved with mínimal impact on the production.

Carry out investigations into part shortage and put corrective actions into place.

Carry out stock takes and highlight any issues to the operations team. Reconcile theoretical and physical stock level. Deal with troubleshoots promptly and effectively. Ensure stock take information is entered correctly on
EFACS system.

Manage stock holdings in line with agreed targets.

What you'll have:

Experience of inventory management within a fast moving and complex work environment; understand cost and control management.

Experienced in operating SAP.

Ability to plan, organise and delegate workload effectively.

Ability to multi-task in a pressured environment and work to deadlines.

Be a team player role model who leads by example; demonstrate effective communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.

Demonstrate the drive to operate to the highest of standards especially during periods of change.

Ability to identify and solve problems, generate innovative solutions, and make justified decisions.

Have flexibility to work outside of normal working hours when needed.

Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
