As part of the vision, we have undertaken a major restructure of the Planning Services and are currently recruiting to a number of new and exciting posts. About the Role
The role is paramount to the delivery of the Council's strategic corporate priorities.

The Council is seeking to tackle enforcement in an efficient and effective manner with the planning enforcement team making a positive difference to the Borough.

The Regeneration, Property and Planning Department have a vacancy for permanent position of Planning Enforcement Officer.

The postholder will lead in the new ways of working for Planning Enforcement by communicating effectively with customers and managing their cases so that a decision is made within a short timeframe.

They will provide a high level of professional advice relating to all planning enforcement matters (legislation and policy).
