Overview of the role

As Digital Deployment Lead, you will be responsible for the engagement, process, adoption and learning module creation for pharmacists, colleagues and key stakeholders in the delivery of Digital products including omnichannel account solution.

Additional responsibility for any Digital product offering which requires store implementation and adoption, either in bricks or mortar or Digital pharmacy.


Provide support and lead where required any process improvement activities at Digital Pharmacy, any Digital projects such as Shop or Online Services and any ad-hoc implementation.


  • Responsible for visiting pharmacies and field leaders to create engagement about Digital products and future propositions, as well as gathering feedback.
  • Responsible for the adoption of Digital products in our pharmacies
  • Ensure successful implementation of omnichannel account in stores to enhance our omnichannel offering, prioritising the adoption amongst our pharmacy teams and field leaders.
  • Develop, implement, review, and update operational readiness plans to ensure that specific deadlines and milestones are achieved and communicated
  • Support the design/testing of system/process and confirm fit for purpose prior to landing in Pharmacies.
  • Supporting the rollout of omnichannel account and owning learning module creation, process documentation and the engagement with AOM's, ROM's & Pharmacy Teams to:
  • Implementation and identify any risks and challenges
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Continue to connect Digital to Bricks & Mortar via regular pharmacy visits and be an advocate for Digital product offerings
  • Challenge compliance to process and raise any immediate concerns with AOM's & ROM's.
  • Communicate and engage effectively with AOMs/ROMs about implementation and any risks or concerns.
  • Coach Pharmacy Managers & colleagues around opportunity for growth and communicating clear messaging about omnichannel proposition
  • Work closely with Digital Pharmacy to provide support in any efficiency improvements
  • Coach and mentor managers and leaders to assist them to deliver change in their teams and engage with project teams to ensure their projects are integrated with the change management initiatives
  • Support in the operational delivery of any new services, omnichannel projects and online shop.
  • Provide adhoc support in any process improvement and implementation activities across Digital.
  • Gather insight for continuous improvement by working with the Digital Teams

  • Coaches and guides Pharmacy teams through change
  • Provides clear and well thought out feedback to influence problems solving and change.

Skills & Experience:


  • Working knowledge of pharmacy or pharmaceutical market
  • Proven experience of building internal and external professional relationships
  • Able to communicate, present and influence internal and external stakeholders to deliver targets.
  • Business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
  • Ability to articulate ideas via presentation to stakeholders.
  • Enjoys the detail of complex business planning.
  • Is comfortable with ambiguity and conflicting priorities.
  • Has strong commercial acumen.
