Surgical First Assistant (SFA)

Locations available:
Nation wide

Hours Available:
Early, Late, Long days (12hr AM or PM), Nights


Pay:
Starting at £50 per hour

Duties:
(duties may vary from hospital to hospital)

  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery.
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery.
  • Assist the surgeon during surgery.
  • Prevent infections from developing in patients' wounds.
  • Communicate with the surgeon and anesthesiologist ,
  • Be able to lift patients when needed.
  • Be able to help patients get from their beds to the operating table.

About you:
(you must have the below to quality for the role)

  • Valid enhances DBS certificate and it must be on update service (Nursebank Solutions can process during registration process)
  • Valid HPCP Pin
  • Right to Work documents.
  • Mandatory training (Nursebank provides free of charge)
  • CV
  • Fitness to practice (FTP)
  • Three years reference.
