This is a national role, with travel around the UK and with head offices in Cannock near Staffordshire, London and Warrington.

Because of our responsibility when it comes to leading change, resourcing takes every single one of us, and this is how you can play your part.

And if you're keen to see the difference you can make in a well established brand, this role will suit you perfectly.

It doesn't matter if you're looking to overhaul the industry, or just do a good day's work.

We know that everyone here at Veolia can help us work alongside our communities, look after the environment, and contribute to our inclusive culture.

What will you be doing?

You will partner with our commercial and business development teams to provide procurement support throughout the full bid life cycle.

This will include identification of supply chain partners to meet client requirements; the development of client proposals and supporting bid clarification requirements to ensure that all needs are satisfied.

And when required, you will assist in the mobilisationof supplier contracts and ensure that supply chain value is achieved.

And collaborating with the National Supply Chain Manager, you will look to build a robust Facilities Management strategy to meet the diverse needs of our customers, including category management activity and developing a robust panel of providers as required.

What are we looking for?

You will have previous, proven experience in procurement functions within blue-chip businesses with exceptional project management skills and the ability to work with a large number of teams at once.

Having experience of drafting and reviewing written communications in order to deliver specific messages within tight deadlines is also a must.

You will also have a proven track record of bid/proposal management and bid advice, ideally with broad experience of advanced Supply Chain and Purchase to Pay systems and processes.

Having a related degree or higher level qualification, MCIPS or part qualified CIPS are not essential but would be highly desirable.
