Description

A Relief Female Personal Care Assistant is required to support a lady who has autism, she also has a language disorder, learning disabilities and dyspraxia. The hours are flexible and on an ad-hoc basis however there will be hours to pick up to cover holidays and sickness of other staff members. The hours are daytime and may include sleepovers.

Duties include:
Support throughout the day with shopping cooking/ cleaning, trips out etc. some personal care is required, therefore care experience would be advantageous but not essential.

This is a lovely job with rewarding benefits supporting the lady with her independent lifestyle but can at times have some challenging behaviour.

A DBS certificate will also be required

The rate of pay is £13.00 per daytime and night time hour.

Exception under the Equality Act the post is only open to female due to the personal assistance required.
