To ensure that maximum utilisation of the workshop and customer satisfaction is
achieved. To invoice Workshop Sales.
Responsibilities:
- To plan the forward capacity to the workshop
- To canvass for and accept bookings for the workshop in order to fill available capacity
- To correctly interpret customer or internal instructions and complete job cards/repair orders
- To promote additional workshop services/repairs where applicable
- Build rapport with all levels of staff and customers
- To monitor all work to ensure that it is completed by the times required and to report any
required or parts to be ordered or fitted
- Adhere to and promote CSI and UTP to customers and 5S programme
- To ensure that work done, parts and consumables used and tests carried out are accurately
- To order parts from the Parts Department and to order subcontract work
- To account for all cash, cheques etc received and to ensure that all work done and parts
- To provide times, hours sold, statistics and budgetary information
- To provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and
- To undertake such other tasks as may reasonably be required
- To enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial
- To comply with good health and safety practice, all statutory requirements, company policies
Required competencies:
- Technical knowledge
- Excellent telephone manner
- Excellent organisational and administration skills

- Able to work to deadlines

- Analytical skills including working with statistical and costing information
