About Us:
Pickup Moving & Storage is a premier moving and storage company providing seamless relocation services for both local and long-distance moves.
This is a self-employed role where you won't have fixed weekly hours. It's not a full-time position; instead, you'll be compensated per job. You can work according to your availability, without the obligation to work every week or every day. Just let us know your schedule, and we'll book you in accordingly.
Duties:
- Safely operate a delivery van to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload cargo from the van
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Previous experience as a van driver working in the moving/removals industry is required
- Ability to lift heavy objects when required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
