Disaster Recover Lead - £600pd - Contract

The role:


A leading Government Institution are seeking a Disaster Recovery Lead to help Plan, build, manage Disaster Recovery across DDaT delivered service lines, including DR strategies, plan development, plan exercising, annual program agendas and recovery improvementmetrics.


This is an initial contract to end of March 23 (extendable), Inside IR35 and paying up to £600 per day.


Experience Requirements:


  • At least 8 years of experience in implementing DR plans, including:
  • Policy, organization and architecture development
  • Backup, recovery, storage systems and IT security management
  • Vendor management of external DR service providers
  • Recovery strategy development, and multiple plan development and maintenance
  • Recovery plan testing
  • Overall program management and governance
  • At least two years of experience in a public sector envrionment
  • Experience in defining, implementing and enforcing riskbased standards, processes and procedures for responding to disruptions in business or IT operations
