As a Healthcare Assistant you will be an integral part of the Clinical Hub team by bringing your clinical skills, knowledge and passion for care.

Practice Plus Group have been successful in retaining the contract for the West Midlands Prisons. The Clinical Hub is a brand new innovation aimed to enhance the clinical support provided to our prisons.

Based within HMP Oakwood, the Clinical Hub team will provide advanced clinical support virtually or face to face to HMP Brinsford and HMP Featherstone with the potential to provide services to the other five establishments within the region.

The team will consist of ACPS, Practice Nurses and Healthcare Assistants.

As well as providing clinical support to the Clinical Hub team, as a HCA you will also:


You hold a NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care and are competent in some advanced clinical skills such as wound care, phlebotomy and taking ECGs.


About You:


  • Support sites with the discharge arrangements of our complex patients
  • Support our patients in HMP Brinsford transition from the Young Offender to Adult estate

You'll receive an annual salary up to £
25000 per annum - dependent on experience.
