Key Responsibilities:


Order Processing:
Efficiently handle customer orders, ensuring accuracy in specifications and delivery timelines.


Data Management:
Maintain and update records using our ERP system, ensuring data integrity and accessibility for relevant departments.


Communication:
Liaise with various teams, suppliers, and customers to facilitate smooth operations and timely delivery of services.


Document Control:
Manage and organise engineering drawings, ensuring they are accessible to the relevant teams and conform to quality standards.


Process Improvement:
Actively seek opportunities for business and process improvement. Propose and implement ideas to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.


Basic Engineering Understanding:

Develop a foundational understanding of our sheet metal manufacturing processes, including laser cutting, press brake folding, tube lasering, welding, rubber lining, shot blasting, painting, powder coating, and galvanising.


Problem Resolution:
Address day-to-day operational challenges promptly, collaborating with different departments to find effective solutions.


Requirements:


  • Experience using Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and their functionalities.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proactive mindset with a keen interest in identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy in daily tasks.
  • Some experience using CAD software is desirable but not essential.
