The Group are seeking a Senior Tax Specialist for their Family Tax Office with wealth of experience on advising High Net Worth Individuals.

The role will involves in looking after personal tax affairs of the owner and the family.


You will liase with the CFO and advising on tax issues and preparing tax advice in the form of reports.

In addition, you will also assist the management with preparation and submission of periodic tax returns.


This is a large, privately owned group of companies with a portfolio of owner operated businesses in the hospitality sector.

The group is responsible for a combined turnover of over £270m and assets valued above £1 billion.

Due to the continual growth of the business an exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified tax professional to join the company's central finance and tax team.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Review tax returns and computations in conjunction with agreed timescales; ensures the efficient and risk managed delivery of compliance.
  • Demonstrable technical knowledge in many areas of tax relevant to personal tax, including those relating to property, income tax, capital gains tax, IHT, trusts and estates.
  • Take steps to minimise professional risk, including the appropriate documentation of services provided and consulting with other senior team members and partners to ensure that second opinions are requested and considered and the appropriate review process is adhered to.
You will be commercially aware and be comfortable with business development and helping grow the service line offering.

You will be a hands on team leader who enjoys developing teams, and building long lasting internal and external relationships.

Personal development is always well supported and encouraged, including support for further professional qualifications.

Ideally you will be CTA qualified and have over 10 years' experience within a similar role in practice or industry.

You should have a good technical tax knowledge and practice experience within private client tax.
