JOB TITLE:
PRODUCTION & KITCHEN OPERATIVE With General Support Duties

REPORTING TO:
Production Supervisor / Head Chef

LOCATION :
21 Carn Road, Carn Industrial Estate, Craigavon, BT 63 5

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To support the production and kitchen team in production process and food preparation.

DAYS OF WORK:
Sunday to Thursday, 7am - 3pm

KEY ACTIVITIES:

Prepare, slicing raw materials in preparation for chefs to cook each day.
Assist the Chefs with cooking processes and preparation to pass through to production/ dishing our area.
Stock rotation, general cleaning duties
Assisting the Production Supervisor and team with production to packing, measuring, dishing out, sealing and labelling.
Assisting with general cleaning during and at end of day.
Assisting with daily Food Recording Processes during and at end of day.
Assisting across departments to meet demands of orders when required.
Any other duties required by Management to assist with the smooth running of the business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Essential:

Knife Skills
1 Year's experience in food production environment
An excellent knowledge of food hygiene, food allergies and food preparation along with positive attitude.
High standards of cleanliness.
Able to work as part of a team
Able to work on own initiative when required.
Able to adapt to different job roles as and when required.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Good organisational and communication skills
Have a good standard of health
Integrity and good interpersonal skills.
