Ian Mosey (Feed) Ltd is a reputable family owned and operated business manufacturing and supplying animal feed across the North of England.

Due to continued growth we are recruiting an HGV Driver (Class 1) to join our team.


The role offers a starting salary of £45,000 moving up to £50,000 on successful completion of probationary period (between 3-6 months).


We are considering applicants who are looking for either tramping work (Monday - Friday or 2-3 nights per week) or who wish to return home each day.


About The Role:


  • Delivering bulk feed to farms, including to rural locations single and multi drops
- 'Hands on' role, loading at Blackdale Mill and unloading on farm using pneumatic discharge equipment

  • Complying with all road traffic regulations and relevant legislation related to Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive
  • Adhering to safe working practices
  • Carrying out driver checks

Requirements:


  • Hold a LGV Class 1/2 (C & E entitlement) driving license
  • Driver CPC qualification
  • Good geographical knowledge
  • Positive, flexible and excellent communication skills
  • Excellent customer services skills
  • Physically active (due to blowing feed at farm locations)
