BEACON HOUSING DOMESTIC ABUSE LEAD PRACTITIONERS

£27,752.07 per annum

37 hours per week x 2

Both posts are fixed term for 2 Years - with the possibility of an extension

Both posts include funding to undertake Level 3 DVA training
Beacon Leeds is a partnership of 3 Leeds-based charities; Turning Lives Around (TLA), Touchstone and Foundation.

Beacon provides a city-wide Housing Related Support accommodation service for vulnerable adults, couples and families to prevent homelessness and address housing need.


The postholders will work within a dynamic, fast paced housing support service to ensure the voice of survivors informs every stage of the process.

Specialising in working with clients for whom housing, and risk of tenancy breakdown and unplanned outcomes are a factor. These two postholders will work closely together across the Beacon Service, one employed by Touchstone and one by TLA.


You will need to be able to establish positive, proactive and innovative working relationships with a range of services and organisations across the Beacon partnership.

The post holder will co-support a caseload of victim survivors and will also be required to undertake and complete the Level 3 DVA training and deliver training across the Beacon partnership.


The post holders will have an excellent understanding of DVA and its effects on victim survivors and their children, as well as best practice within the DVA and housing sectors.
