We are recruiting for a Construction and Maintenance Coordinator. This is a busy, varied role where no two days are the same.

This role is all about facilitating and coordinating the work of the company engineers ensuring jobs can be completed in a compliantand timely manner.

We are looking for someone who is a real organiser, a problem solver, who is good with people and can get things over the line


JOB TITLE:
Construction and Maintenance Coordinator


LOCATION:
Honiton


SALARY:
£24,000 per annum plus bonus


BENEFITS:25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, up to 10% annual bonus, 6% contributory pension from company, group life assurance, discounted RAC breakdown cover, employee wellbeing service, plus many social events


HOURS: 8.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday

THE ROLE:

The key focus of this role is to provide administrative support to the Construction Department, facilitating the completion of all jobs on schedule.

In order to achieve this, you will need to build relationships with all internaland external stakeholders, coordinating with contractors and the Construction team ensuring daily completion rates are met.


Key duties will include:

  • Ensure all permits for work are processed in a timely manner and permit statuses communicated to relevant parties
  • Raising, modifying and validating permits with local authorities
  • Producing noticing status reports
  • Managing defect reworks
  • Coordinating works start to finish, including all necessary equipment and materials
  • Monitor the daily works report
  • Support the Senior Coordinator on weekly meetings with Contractors, ensuring they have a full schedule of works ahead
  • Ensure the planning schedule is 3 weeks ahead at all times
  • Liaise with the Field Supervisors daily to ensure works are completed as per the schedule
  • Provide telephone and system support
  • Providing general administrative support

  • Confident IT skills
  • Confident and proficient with technology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent people skills and telephone manner
  • A team player
  • Reactive thinking day to day activity changes regularly
  • Detail oriented and analytical
  • Thrives in a multitasking environment and can adjust priorities onthefly
  • The ability to talk to anyone at any level and build relationships
