Description
HR Data Administrator, £ doe, full time, permanent role, hybrid working, Brighton, East Sussex for public sector pensions company.

This is a brand-new role joining a team of seven, where you will have the responsibility for the integrity of all their hr data.

You will manage and maintain their cross systems, regularly auditing and cleansing data, improving accuracy and data capture.


You will seek out opportunities for continuous improvement and encourage, support and train the People Team and the organisation in the use of our HR databases and systems.

You will make recommendations, action quick fixes and develop an ongoing roadmap for improvements.


Duties include:

  • Ensure HR processes and data requirements are kept up to date
  • Ensure HR systems are best utilised and explained to enable operational delivery with a focus on employee experience, accuracy, compliance and continuous improvement
  • Work with key stakeholders to improve efficiency, deliver further automation and streamlining of processes
  • Create training resources, selfsupport materials and delivery training as needed
  • Ensure all data is kept in accordance with the HR retention schedule and GDPR
  • Update configuration and ensure that the HR systems are fit for purpose
  • Set up channels to capture feedback on system configuration and user experience
  • Promptly and accurately respond to internal and external customer queries


The HR Database Administrator ideally will have previous experience in a HR department doing a similar role and with strong knowledge working with HR databases and systems.

Experience of writing and maintaining process documents, supporting guidance and/or training documents.


Naturally you will have strong attention to detail and accuracy and knowledge of iTrent hr and payroll systems or similar HR databases.

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Working closely with the Data Analyst to spot any errors or inconsistencies, running reports and data sets, and used to working with confidential data.


The HR Database Administrator is a full-time role, working at least one day in the Brighton office, can work more days in the office if preferred, the rest remote working.

Monday-Friday 9-5pm flexible working, £26873-£30000 doe, 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, civil service pension, flexible working arrangements, development opportunities, enhanced parental leave arrangements and a free employee assistance programme.
