As the Fabric Supervisor, you'll collaborate closely with Engineering Leads and the site General Manager to ensure top-notch building fabric services.

This role encompasses planned and reactive maintenance tasks, alongside supporting projects and minor works across campus.

Day-to-day, the Fabric Supervisor will lead the Fabric Team, fostering development and mentorship among team members.

With responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing self-delivery fabric minor works and remediation activities, you'll play a pivotal role in our Above Base framework.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide building fabric task completion to sites within region and support wider campus team
  • Complete PPMs and reactive work orders within given timescales and with accurate information.
  • Ability to work to and supervise detailed maintenance task briefs and procedures
  • Manage the consumables and spares for site, including identifying and updating as appropriate to building fabric maintenance
  • Ensure that the building is maintained in a clean and safe condition with required remediation completed in timely manner
  • Escalate high risk items to senior management, ensuring that appropriate action is taking to address

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • NVQ/C&G OR TIME SERVED Painter and decorator/ Carpenter
  • Time served or City and Guilds apprenticeship in a building discipline such as carpentry, Painting and Decorating etc
  • Other relevant training appropriate to work in a building maintenance environment e.g. first aid, MEWP, PASMA
  • Health and Safety Training within a similar environment
  • Knowledge of Asset management / CAFM / use of PDA's to manage workflow
  • Excellent allround ability in a busy building maintenance team
