Osborne Appointments are recruiting on behalf of our client based in Ware who offer a some great benefits to include pension, Medical cover, 33 days holiday including bank holidays and voucher schemes after the qualifying period and lots of over time availablepaying x1.33 for weekdays and x1.5 for weekends.

**Hours: **Monday to Friday 8am -5pm on a 40 hour week There is overtime available

**Salary: **£10.80 an hour, £22,464 a year with overtime at x1.33 for weekdays and x1.5 for weekends.

Responsibilities of Job:
This job description lists the roles and responsibilities expected of a Process Operator. Your main work areas will be the reactor, filtration, sieving, blending and packaging areas of the factory. You will report directly to theSupervisor, or in his absence to any manager.

Your duties will include, but not be limited to:

  • _1.
_General factory processes (cleaning factory areas, filtration, sieving, forklift operation)
- _2.
_Daily industrial vacuuming/cleaning of factory areas
- _3.
_Machinery operations
- _4.
_Loading/un loading blenders
- _5.
_Non-hazardous and hazardous chemical handling
- _6.
_Small item packaging (powder and liquid)
- _7.
_Accurate batch labelling
- _8.
_Follow instructions accurately and quickly
- _9.
_Maintain records as required by the company Quality Manuals
- _10.
- _Packaging/handling of 25/50kg drums (powder)

From time to time, when it is considered necessary or appropriate by management you may be required to carry out any other duties considered within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business.

You will be expected to present yourself in a smart and neat manner at all times while on site. All staff are expected to wear clothes which are appropriate for an office / manufacturing workplace environment. The Company places paramount importance on healthand safety and welfare of employees at work.

Every employee is further required to take such steps as are reasonably practicable to ensure the health and safety of him/herself and others affected by his/her work.

You must make use of all protective clothingand equipment that are provided for you and co-operate with the management in all respects for the full implementation of the Health and Safety Policy.

You will need to be a good team worker, have flexibility and follow instructions quickly and accurately.

You will be required to have an excellent attitude towards time keeping and be expected to be ready to start work at the commencement of your normalworking day.
