Role overview:
The Events Executive is responsible for several different areas across events at Tes. Reporting into the Events Operations Manager the role sits within the centralised global marketing team at Tes.


The primary focus for this role is the successful delivery of the various Tes Awards, but also supports our wider events calendar.


Key Responsibilities:
Working alongside the Events Operations Manager the Events Executive is responsible for delivering the following:

  • Organisation and management of the Tes Schools Awards from launch through to completion.
  • Preparing timelines and plans for the awards
  • Preparation and delivery of the marketing plan for the awards in liaison with the wider Tes marketing team
  • Manage the nominations process from launch through to the judging process
  • Work with the editorial team to confirm categories and judges for Tes Award ceremonies
  • Liaison with wider stakeholder group around the awards and managing all suppliers included within the awards
  • On site event management at the Tes Schools Awards
What will you need to succeed?

  • A background of organising awards client side from planning, through to delivery of a gala dinner
  • An understanding of all aspect of an awards evening is vital, from marketing to monitoring the nomination process, and managing the physical events
  • We are looking for someone who has strong stakeholder relationship management skills to allow them to work with our judging panel and all suppliers.
  • Experience in running virtual events such as webinars and seminars would be an additional benefit
