Reed Finance are delighted to be supporting one of our clients on a newly created Financial Controller opportunity.

My client is seeking a strong Chartered Accountant to join their growing accountancy firm and play a pivotal role in driving growth and transformation.

A key part to your new role is to be responsible for driving performance, lead a small finance team and ensure robust financial controls are in place.

_Key Duties & Responsibilities _

Developing and executing management strategies, ensuring the firm has robust financial controls and clear & accurate management reporting
Building & establishing strong relationships across the firm, attending SLT meeting and contributing on strategic, financial, and operational matters
Responsible for preparing management reporting, statutory financial statements, VAT returns, management of cashflow and payroll
Managing 3rd party relationships
Developing the annual budget and financial forecasts and presenting budget & forecasts to the SLT for approval
Lead a small finance team of
Chartered Accountant
Strong commercial background
Demonstrated history of strong financial leadership
Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
