Description

The post holder will co-lead on preceptorship which is a key component of our drive to support transition from student to registered practitioner and aid retention.

Work in partnership with the Corporate and Divisional teams, across nursing and AHP's where required. To network and gain valuable relationships with Higher Educational Institutes and Integrated Care System professional leads across the health economy to maximise Clinical Placement capacity

Promote quality assurance of the learning environment, ensuring compliance with educational audit, monitoring and action planning constructive evaluation feedback from learners and any concerns raised

Act as primary point of contact for support of students and their educators in resolving placement related issues, promoting tri-partite communication with HEIs as required

Work between education, quality, and corporate directives, and within the clinical teams to support education.

To be actively present and to support the development of educational and competency standards and quality of care across the Trust.


To actively work with clinical teams and system partners to plan and facilitate learning experiences to meet the educational needs of those seeking work placements, returning to practice, undertaking apprenticeships and pre-registration programmes and international placements.

The role will include Moving and Handling course delivery. You will have full training to enable you to undertake this work with the team

This role is open to Nurses and AHP who are registered.
