An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Administrator for cardiac rehabilitation.


We work closely with BACPR instructors, OT, pharmacy, dietitians', consultants, GP'S, other trusts, The Cardiac Network and other specialist nurses.


You will be a key member of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Team, providing full and comprehensive support and high-level administration and data inputting to the Team onto SOLUS and NACR databases in a timely manner protecting our accredited status.

This role will support the Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist Nurse Team to manage patient appointments, keep accurate records and audit trails of referrals, liaise with GP's, detailing discharge status, producing reports and supporting the Team with the production of documentation and processes as required.


You will work alongside Specialist Nurses, Consultants, The Cardiac Network, NACR Programme Managers and Key Stakeholders to assist with the implementation of processes and projects that support the future goals and expectations of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Service, especially the uptake of heart failure patients.

To assist in the management of data collection and inputting onto appropriate databases to represent the increased uptake of heart failure patients by:

  • Arrange and facilitate patient appointments, assuring all appropriate audit documentation is sent and collected.
  • Manage the inputting of data in accordance with NACR requirements to maintain accreditation status.
  • Be familiar with BACPR Core Components and new KPI requirements and ensure that these are met, in particular, the uptake of heart failure patients.
  • Liaising with patients, making amendments when necessary, dealing with
cancellations and ensuring that any missed/cancelled appointments are
rescheduled accordingly.

  • The role requires working with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Nurse Specialist and representatives to ensure that patient outcomes are recorded electronically.
  • Event management in the organisation of meetings with The Cardiac Network.
  • Ensure all relevant preinformation is sent to patients prior to any sessions.
  • Documentation development, audit and maintenance of the Cardiac
Rehabilitation Nurse Specialists' activity requiring extensive use of Microsoft
Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, NACR, NICOR and SOLUS
databases.
