An excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading service sector company in Macclesfield due to continued growth and expansion. This company have an excellent office environment and excellent levels of staff retention.
Description
The Part Time Purchase Ledger role is initially a 9 month contact and will be 100% office based in Macclesfield.
- days worked are flexible.
Reporting to the Finance Manager Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all purchase invoices
- Full reconciliations of all suppliers on a monthly, bimonthly basis.
- Working through all reconciling entries to resolve queries, misallocations and items which require further investigation.
- Assisting with the waived items postings, ensuring entries are removed from the supplier statements within a timely fashion.
- To ensure all financial transactions are accurately processed taking particular care of the treatment of VAT.
- Complying with all accounts procedures and firm wide policies.
Profile
- Have previous experience in Accounts/Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable
- Be available to consider a 9 month contract initially
- Be looking for Part Time hours 24 per week
- Be able to commute to Macclesfield office
