Description
We're hiring for a
Warehouse Operative to join a family run distribution company based in
Glossop.

In this role you will be working diligently with their 50-man team to ensure the company's product is looked after and sent out to their global client base.

What will you be doing as a Warehouse Operative?

  • Scanning and wrapping pallets
  • Working closely with deliveries to help load/unload product
  • Operating warehouse equipment safely, including forklift trucks to help carry out your duties
  • Identifying and reporting any problems or faults relating to your area or any other area of your responsibility
  • Operating in line with site health and safety, environmental and quality standards, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensuring that housekeeping is maintained

What do you need?

  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts
  • Willing to put in overtime if required
  • Physically fit enough to manually move products
  • FLT License advantageous but not essential (full training available)
  • Reliable, hard working and good communication skills

Job Types:
Part-time, Temporary contract


Salary:
£10.42 per hour
