Advanced Practitioner Occupational Therapist - Band 7

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Practice Occupational Therapist to join the Emergency Medicine Service based at the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh.

We are seeking to appoint a passionate, person centred, skilled and highly motivated clinician to clinically lead and develop the Occupational Therapy input to patients attending the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit at Edinburgh Royal Infirmary.

This role plays a key part in the patient journey - working closely with patients and the multidisciplinary team to identify patient centred interventions and deliver a holistic approach.

Alongside this there is a key role in further establishing and developing the clinical service.

You should have senior clinical experience working as an Occupational therapist within an acute specialty and will have the ability to lead in the provision of clinical expertise, offering advice and support to patients, their carers and other health care professionals.
