The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (HSS) is central to this vision, working closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care.

The Faculty is situated at Lansdowne Campus, in central Bournemouth and close to its beautiful beaches and amenities.

This post will provide support to degree apprenticeship programmes.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to be responsible for the day to day management of all administrative duties for designated academic programmes.

You will be a customer focused individual who is flexible and able to manage deadlines effectively, to provide specialist knowledge and to support students, academic staff and external stakeholders.

You will need to demonstrate significant administrative experience coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational flair, combined with a proactive approach is essential as is the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.

You will have an advanced understanding of Microsoft Office, databases and spreadsheets.


This post is available on a part time basis for 18.5 hours / 0.5 FTE each week.

This post requires a satisfactory enhanced DBS check.
