Description
What do you get if you cross an award winning, innovative, water company and over 300 dedicated team members? Our Capital Delivery team of course

We're Severn Trent and we think water and people are wonderful

24 hours a day, 365 (sometimes 366) days a year we serve 8 million people across the heart of the UK.

Each cuppa drank, and toilet flushed is only possible because of the 6,500 brilliant people working across our patch.

Our ambitious and innovative projects (all 5000+ of them) help to combat the challenges of waste and water infrastructure, flooding and water quality.

Be a part of something bringing benefits to our communities, health outcomes and environment.

This role is vital to the service we deliver those 8 million customers, and we think you'd love it.

It could be the biggest challenge of your career. If you want to do more because you care, we'd love to talk to you.

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

In this role you'll work within the Project Management Office function of the Green Recovery Programme, developing, managing, and reporting on programme plans on behalf of both programme and project managers to meet overall requirements of the business, and to provide insightful upward reporting.

Daily activities will include reporting actual performance and variance against the baseline plans and forecast outcomes, as well as monitoring supplier planning processes.

You will follow the change control process to identify risks or opportunities, update assumptions and dependencies logs, and ensure compliance against our internal procedures.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

You'll join us with experience in project planning such as the successful scheduling or project and programme plans, as well as a strong working knowledge of planning software such as Microsoft Project (MSP).

It is imperative that you have great communication skills alongside great project management skills.

To measure success of the project plans it is important that you can be skilful in different styles of communication.

Of course, it's important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight.

The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character, positivity, and a caring attitude we want to talk to you, too.

We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities.

We want people who show up and get involve.

Those who are ready to be part of something bigger and who want to make a difference because they care.

Is that you?

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
It's not just a job you'll get here, you'll get a career too.

We have a range of benefits that reward and recognise great work and award-winning training to ensure you reach your potential.

And we'll also help you play your part in looking after the environment and the community in which we live.

Here's some of our favourites:
