BARBERS ESTATE AND LETTING AGENTS

Barbers established, award winning
Residential Lettings Department requires a dynamic full time
Property Administrator to join the team at their lettings headquarters office in Market Drayton.

This is a busy role that requires a high level of organisation, resilience and co-ordination.

You will be responsible for arranging maintenance and repairs as part of our
Property Management team,which includes being the main contact for landlords and tenants, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth and efficient operation of our lettings and property management department.

Working in a busy, fast paced office where effective and prompt action is required.


Responsibilities will include:


  • Managing a portfolio of properties on behalf of landlord clients.
  • Manage client relationships and maintain customer satisfaction
  • Keeping accurate and up to date records on our companies CRM system
  • Provide support via efficient communication to landlords and tenants throughout their tenancy.
  • Dealing with daytoday maintenance issues.
  • Raise works orders to contractors and follow up to ensure works are completed.
  • Visit properties within our portfolio to assess required works and ensure properties are ready for let.

Requirements:


  • Must have UK driving license and own car
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Able to respond positively to challenges
  • Confident manner, work well under pressure and excel at multitasking.
  • Good IT skills required with a high level of spelling, grammar and punctuation with the ability to use various Microsoft Packages
Full training and support will be provided.

Knowledge of housing law and lettings compliance is an advantage but not essential.


The position also has the opportunity to acquire a Level 3 qualification in Residential Letting & Property Management alongside the role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday and one in four Saturdays

Office based role
