Edwards & Ward are currently recruiting for a Cook to run one of our schools in Kingswood, Bristol. The main duties of the role are

Food preparation and service for up to 100 pupils per day.
Food ordering and stock rotation.
Weekly stocktaking and collation of meal numbers.
Presentation of meals.
General cleaning duties.
Food safety & H&S procedures.

Catering experience is advisable, but full training can be given.

What we are looking for is someone who enjoys cooking and will encourage the children to try new types of food.

Level 2 in food safety, health & safety and allergens ongoing throughout employment. Uniform and safety shoes provided.

This is a term time only position, so would suit persons looking to return to work, with hours that suit school times & holidays.

This is a lovely kitchen with a small team of two.

Hours of work - Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week, up to £12.00 per hour depending on experience.
