Apprentice Purchasing Admin Assistant - Durham, United Kingdom - Optimum Skills
Description
We are looking for a Purchasing Admin Assistant to join us on the purchasing team.The ideal person will be warm, outgoing, and understanding of our customer's needs.
You will be enthusiastic and keen to learn with a can-do attitude and a willingness to work as part of our close and friendly team.
The role will include:
- Contact suppliers
- Resolving issues
- Returning items
- Updating systems
- Raising purchase orders
- Cancelling items with suppliers
- Ad hoc duties
- Learning role of all team to be able to cover
- Progress into having suppliers
About you:
- Good communication skills
- Wanting to learn
- Compliant with systems
Working hours:
- Monday-Friday, 9am5pm
As part of the apprenticeship, you will need to complete your Functional skills if you do not already have your Maths and English at GCSE Level.
You will complete the Business Administration L3 as part of the role, the training will be provided by Optimum skills.

£5.50 per hour
