Multitech Site Services is a leading specialist contractor supplying temporary services to the UK construction industry. This includes temporary electrics, plumbing and public health services.


About this position:


We're looking for a pro-active and driven team player who is comfortable in Leading a team of electrcians, improvers and apprentices in the field.


As Electrical Working Supervisor, you will be a valued member of our London region and will report into the Contracts Manager on a daily basis which will include, providing updates on site progress, quality of site installations and ensuring that our clients are given an efficient service from our site operations team.


Ideally you will be an experienced supervisor of teams, however we are open to considering a development opportunity for the right person if you have worked as a qualified electrician in a leading role.


What you'll be doing:


Commercial


Identifying variation and up selling opportunities across projects by building strong client relationships which are built on trust, ensuring that you are responding to client requests for additional works and information in a timely manner.

Gathering the information required in order for accurate prices to be quoted.


Safety


Promoting a positive health and safety culture by actively seeking to minimise risks and ensuring that our works are always carried out with safety in mind.

Maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to health and safety non-conformities by ensuring that these are dealt with and solutions are put in place.

You will also be required to prepare RAMS and deliver health and safety talks to your team during team briefings.


About You:


  • A team player with the ability to work in close coordination with the Contract Manager
  • Ability to communicate expectations clearly and supervise a regional team of site personnel
  • Able to liaise with clients and discuss planned and expected outcomes of a project
  • Promote and uphold the expected company standards in relation to PPE and safety, company clothing, communication and time keeping

Essential

  • Drive and passion to do a good job
  • Understanding of 18th edition regulations.
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experience of managing teams on site or in an office environment
  • ECS Gold Card / Equivalent Experience

Desirable

  • Plumbing knowledge
  • Knowledge of temporary site services
  • Worked for Tier 1 contractors.


  • Testing Qualification 239

  • SSSTS or SMSTS
  • 18th Edition
  • Temporary electrics experience
