YOUR CONTRIBUTION


This position will report into the Senior Finance Business Partner and will be responsible for the financial transactional processing within the Finance Function.

This will include, but will not be limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Daily Bank Statements and Employee Expenses.

The role will also support the customer service, ensuring its customers are supplied with the right product at the right price and right customer first time on time, every time with attention to detail and accuracy.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES;

  • Demonstrate a strong understanding, knowledge and ability in accounting and reporting processes.
  • Accounts Payable duties including, accurate entry and processing of supplier transactions.
  • Accounts Receivable duties including, monthly analysis of aged items and onaccount payments to ensure open items are identified.
  • Banking & Other including, accurately recording and processing of daily cash movements.
  • Customer Order Processing, ensuring customer orders are processed accurately, compliantly and in a timely manner.
  • Supporting the finance function in responding to information requests from both internal (local and global) and external (for example Suppliers, HMRC, VAT, Customs & Excise, Auditors etc.) customers and colleagues.
  • Prepares reports and documents covering accounting transactions for management review. Ensures that accurate records are kept by standard practices. Supports the budget planning process, forecasts future cash flows, provides periodic financial analysis.
  • Focusing on the improvement and development of the accounting function (SAP, reporting tools, information interfaces)
  • Data Protection/GDPR including, records are 100% compliant inline with legislation

ABOUT YOU

  • 3+ years experience of transactional role in a finance Department or a degree in a business discipline with a desire to start a career in finance.
  • Previous experience of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing would be an advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Required.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Required.


  • Good Analytical skills

  • Preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • SAP exposure and knowledge an advantage.
