A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A NIGHT RECEPTIONIST AT Hampton by Hilton, Gatwick Airport

  • What you will be doing..._
Reporting to the Night Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following.

  • Greeting guests, check in and checking out guests and assisting them with any general enquiries
  • Serving food and beverage from the 24/7 menu to any late arrivals and residents
  • Preparing the Breakfast Buffet for the early opening of the Restaurant which opens at 4am for our residents
  • Carrying out security patrols and ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests during their stay
  • Completing the Reception shift and balancing the day's business and running the Night Audit process
  • Assisting guests with tehri forward travel plans and making reservations as required

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

To succeed in the role of Night Team Member/Receptionist, you will need the following qualities and skills.

  • You will need to be well presented, approachable and helpful, along with a good command of the English language
  • Be able to work well on your own using your own initiative and with others as you are part of a team working on shifts
  • Follow the checklist protocols and be confident in computer skills and telephone answering
  • Be a good team player and allround problem solver to help our guests
  • Have previous experience in guest facing roles and be able to work well in a calm and busy airport environment
- have a good standard of numeracy and be able to complete work to timelines as the audit process is an essential part of our daily operation
